Folco CHITI BATELLI (Florence, 1932 – 2011)

Folco Chiti Batelli was born in Florence in 1932.
His first exhibition was in 1963 at the “Fiorino”. In 1978 he was invited to the exhibition of “Fiorino Florence” and included in the shortlist of five finalists. Throughout his career, he exhibited both in Italy and abroad in prestigious art galleries and public institutions. Among the most recent, the exhibition held in 2005 at the Museo Civico Archeologico of Fiesole (Florence) entitled “Folco Chiti Batelli – Lacerti urbani e altre storie” and in 2014, at Museo Mediceo of Palazzo Medici Riccardi (Florence) the exhibition entitled “Folco Chiti Batelli – Segni d’anima e di città”.
In 2011 he exhibited at the Venice Biennale, among the painters representatives of Tuscany, at the Italian pavilion.
