SMALL SIZE

A collective exhibition that celebrates greatness in small things, an exhibition dedicated to small-format paintings by authors of different eras, languages and artistic backgrounds. The exhibition invites the public to rediscover the value of the close-up view, the delicacy of detail and the surprising intensity that can arise from minimal surfaces. The comparison between artists belonging to different times and paths allows us to grasp how the small format has been a tool for experimentation, a possibility to welcome the intimacy of an intuition, personal visions and reflections. From instinctive sketches to chromatic research, the works on display compose a heterogeneous and fascinating mosaic. The exhibition is an invitation to be surprised by what, even in small size, possesses an expressive force capable of overcoming the physical boundaries of the work. Among the authors on display are Henry Maurice Cahours, Marisa Mori, Giulio Da Milano, Gleb Savinov, Sergej Tkacev, Vladimir Joukov, Dora Maar, with subjects ranging from landscape to genre scene and still life.
