PAINTERS OF THE SECOND HALF OF THE XX CENTURY IN TURIN

A rich group exhibition offering the opportunity to approach artists who belong to the figurative art history of Turin in the second half of the XX century. Among them, about a dozen, some are permanently dealt by the Gallery, such as Edgardo Corbelli with his expressionist women, and Giulio Da Milano with, beside works related to the theme of the exhibition, a subtly poetic interior dated 1919. Among the others representative authors of the period there are Riccardo Taliano, whose works have already been hosted in a personal retrospective in 2015, Riccardo Chicco, Albino Galvano, Sergio Albano, Luigi Roccati. The pictorial sequence then counts a charming and vaguely enchanted painting by Almerico Tomaselli, Anna Sogno’s vibrant flowers, sophisticated ancient walls by Luciano Verdiani and Sandro Lo Cascio’s enigmatic and melancholic women.
The exhibition will remain open until June 25, 2017
