The exhibition features a group show offering an overview of the Gallery’s key artists.
It will therefore be possible to see in a single exhibition, free from a common theme, the landscapes of the French Henry Maurice Cahours (1889-1974), in particular the evocative seascapes, the still lifes with disarming lyricism of the Florentine Enzo Faraoni (1920-2017), the “aquatic” works of the Danish artist Birgitte Lykke Madsen (1960), the oils of the Turin-born Luisa Albert (1969), the watercolours of the Novara-born Andrea Pescio (1972) and, among the representatives of the Moscow and St. Petersburg schools of the so-called Soviet Impressionism, the powerful and material canvases of Georgij Moroz (1937-2015), the original still lifes of Maya Kopitzeva (1924-2005), the intense adolescents of Igor Smekalov (1965) and the quiet landscapes of Leonid Vaichlia (1922-2013).
